The Battery Show North America returns to Huntington Place in Detroit from October 12 to 15, 2026. The organiser is introducing the Executive Summit, an exclusive, one-day, closed-door event for C-suite executives and industry leaders to discuss high-level strategy, market trends and policy impacts. The summit takes place on Thursday, October 15, the final day of the show.

The wider conference programme runs across five tracks. Advanced Battery Technology and EV Battery and Powertrain Integration sit alongside Battery Manufacturing and Gigafactories, Energy Storage Systems and Grid Applications, and Electrified Aviation and Advanced Mobility. Between them, the tracks cover next-generation chemistries, manufacturing and supply chain resilience, grid-connected storage and the expansion of electrification into aviation and heavy mobility. A hands-on workshop opens the week on Monday, October 12, ahead of three full conference days running Tuesday through Thursday, with the organiser advertising 250-plus speakers and more than 140 hours of education.

More than 1,300 exhibitors are confirmed for the show floor, including Henkel, which recently launched two thermal interface materials for EV battery packs, part of the wider shift toward cell-to-pack adhesive systems Electrified Future covered in May. Bergquist TGF 2030APS is a silicone-free, two-component gap filler with a stated thermal conductivity of 1.7 W/m·K, intended to move heat from the cell stack to the cooling plate. Loctite TLB 9270APS is a polyurethane-based adhesive with a stated thermal conductivity of 2 W/m·K, built for cell-to-pack architectures and described by Henkel as particularly well suited to aluminium and PET-film substrates.

Parker is also confirmed among this year’s exhibitors, with its Lord and Chomerics divisions working in thermal management materials for EV battery systems, alongside BorgWarner, returning to the floor with its own portfolio in thermal management, power electronics and battery systems.

This year’s programme also includes the Battery Awards, recognising the most outstanding achievements across advanced battery and EV technology. Attendees get the chance to connect with nominees and winners on the evening of the ceremony.
