New Eagle is heading to ACT Expo 2026 with its most comprehensive platform to date, presenting a unified suite of embedded commercial vehicle control systems spanning hardware, software, and engineering services. The Ann Arbor-based company will occupy Booth #3205 at the Las Vegas Convention Center from May 4 to 6, showing how OEMs can accelerate development across electrified, hybrid, and internal combustion vehicle programs from a single integrated offering.

Raptor and OpenECU unite as a single commercial vehicle control systems platform

ACT Expo marks New Eagle’s first major industry event since the acquisition of Pi Innovo. The combined offering pairs the Raptor® software toolchain with the OpenECU™ hardware range, addressing what the company identifies as a primary bottleneck in commercial vehicle development: fragmented architectures and disconnected toolchains that slow integration and deployment.

More than 30 production-ready products and integrated systems will be on display across four areas. Core control platforms cover the Raptor and OpenECU development environments, supporting model-based design, rapid prototyping, and production deployment. Production ECUs and displays offer a broad lineup of controllers and operator interfaces supporting electrification, driveline control, alternative fuels, and vehicle systems. Connected and intelligent systems centre on the John Deere VPU2 platform, which integrates ADAS, real-time processing, and edge compute capabilities. Integrated vehicle systems provide end-to-end demonstrations combining controllers, software, and partner technologies in real-world applications.

Kevin Alley, chief commercial officer at New Eagle, said the show represents a milestone in bringing the expanded portfolio together. He described the combination of Raptor and OpenECU as expanding both what customers can build and the speed at which they can bring products to market, across development, integration, and production.

Fleet electrification and alternative fuels drive the partner ecosystem

The ACT Expo showcase will also highlight New Eagle’s growing partner network. Collaborations with John Deere, Bosch, ETAS, Veethree, and Helix are integrated into the demonstrations, showing how a connected partner ecosystem can accelerate system development across commercial vehicles, off-highway systems, electrified platforms, and alternative fuels.

New Eagle will host a joint networking event with ETAS during the show, giving customers and partners the opportunity to engage directly with engineering teams and explore collaboration opportunities.

The Las Vegas showcase positions the unified Raptor and OpenECU platform as New Eagle’s most complete answer yet to the development, integration, and production challenges facing commercial vehicle OEMs today.
