GAC International used Auto China 2026 to stage its first dedicated global launch event, unveiling three electrified models built for overseas markets. The AION i60, AION N60 and GAC YUE7 are each aimed at a distinct segment of the global EV market, from long-range family transport to all-terrain family SUVs. Around 330 attendees gathered at the GAC booth on 24 April, including dealer representatives, key partners and domestic and international media.
AION i60 and N60 bring distinct EV powertrain strategies to global markets
The AION i60 targets range anxiety head-on. GAC’s new-generation ADiMOTION powertrain series gives it a CLTC combined range of up to 1,240 km. The model has already collected two industry awards, covering both the top 10 REEV models and top 10 EV models categories. GAC says the global launch of the i60 is scheduled for the end of 2026.
The AION N60 takes a different technical approach, featuring GAC’s Quark Electric Drive 2.0 powertrain. That system was the sole winner of the 2025 Global New Energy Vehicle Innovation Technology award, with a peak motor efficiency of 99%. Paired with Level 2 intelligent driving, the N60 returns energy consumption as low as 11.7 kWh per 100 km, making it one of the more efficient propositions in its class.
GAC YUE7 targets fleet electrification across all terrains
The GAC YUE7 is positioned as GAC’s first intelligent rugged family SUV designed for all-scenario use. Its integrated frame and digital chassis are described as class-leading, balancing off-road capability with everyday comfort. GAC confirmed the model maintains consistent performance even at temperatures as low as minus 40 degrees Celsius. Together, all three models reflect GAC’s stated strategy of achieving full-category, full-powertrain and all-scenario coverage across global markets. GAC International has set a public target of becoming a front-runner among China’s auto exporters by 2030.
